Vogue Greece (Hellas), Glamour Have Closed
This is from November 2012.
After 32 years of operation, Liberis publications are forced to close down as they didn’t manage to get a rescue loan from the bank. In a letter to his employees, publisher Antonis Liberis noted, “I announce to you that today, hope has died.”
Within the next days some of Liberis Publications title deeds, including Ego, and Status magazines, will be transferred to Theoharis Filipopoulos’s Attica Media Publications.
However, no references have been made about the international title deeds. Theodoris Kyriakou owner of Dafni publications is said to have expressed interest and within the next days the Conde Nast group is expected to visit Greece to discuss the terms of conveyance concerning the magazines Vogue, Men’s Health, and Glamour.
