Which Photographers Ruled The F.W Campaigns, This Season?
Below is a list of photographers and the F.W 12.13 campaigns they shot. It's not a complete list, but it gives us a clear picture of who are the go-to photographers, by the high-end fashion industry, at the moment.
While there are hundreds of campaigns and photographers being shot and used around the world, this list focuses primarily on recognized high-end photographers/brands.
As is clear below, Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott (seen above) are the ruling due, at the moment; with at least 16 campaigns to their name, this season. I believe they were as strong last season. Inez & Vinoodh are 2nd, followed by Steven Meisel, whose influence continues to weaken, I believe. One name that is gaining traction is Giampaolo Sgura. He started to make way with Vogue Italia/Paris/Japan/UK amongst other titles, over the past year, and this obviously went a long way for him, here. I think he will continue to rise, though he still needs to push himself artistically. What sets Mert & Marcus apart, for example, is their theatrical vision, and Sgura needs that.
Other strong performers were McDean, Sims, and McLellan. Teller did his usual thing. Terry was a blimp, with three campaigns. Steven Klein was not active much, but the concencious from people I'm talking to is that the wind might shift his way soon. Other point of interest is Deborah Turbeville campaign for Valentino, which I liked, and which I think will help her next season.
Please note that I left out the fragrance campaigns, and campaigns that were shot by Tom Ford and Karl Lagerfeld. I felt they own/run their brands, and individually made the decision to shoot their own campaigns, as apposed to being hired by someone else. Wisely, no one else hired Lagerfeld to shoot their campaign.

even though Meisel shot less campaigns than I&V, I think Meisel is still in demand than I&V. Meisel shot most of the high-end campaigns and I&V's aren't that high-end. Also, Mesiel's works still better than I&V IMO.
Steven Meisel's influence continues to weaken?! Huh?! Take a course in fashion photography before writing such nonsense.
i like your blog, this is my first time to visit your blog. you really doing well, i hope we also learn from you.

Loving this, really good stuff. Lovely to see a local photographer featured. That shot definitely deserves to be in National Geographic.thank you, for confirming the key and detailed points of fashion photography, like carefully selecting your model and highlighting the products. Good stuff, thanks again.

I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your site. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme? Excellent work!
I have a memory foam mattress and love it. I don't think its very hot, but then again my house is really cold even in the hot summers. The first night I didn't really like it but now I really, really love it. I have had it for about a year. One thing you might not know is that when they are advertised, it may say something like temperature controlled. Ect. That just means that the spot you have been laying in gets really soft and comfy. The rest of the mattress will feet a lot harder and harder to the touch. Hope that helped and made sense!!!
hi good looking your site nice posting thanks for sharing information i enjoy this blog.
