Paul Rowland & Mohammed Fujar to Ford, Caroline Poznanski to Supreme
The confused saga, originated as a scoop du jour by Wayne The Imagist, has come to light today, with the NY post confirming what was already hushly confirmed, that Paul Rowland has left Women/Supreme to join Ford. While Caroline Poznanski, who headed Ford's women division, has moved to Supreme.
The name left out from the article was Mr. Moroccan, Mohammed Fujar, the booker of Supreme, who I hear has moved along with Paul.
And there will be a lot more moving than these guys & gal, as the models have now fallen in the middle of things, each being tugged by each side, to the other.
"The models at these places are in a tailspin. A lot, including [Ford girls] Chanel Iman and Jacquelyn Jablonski, don't know if they're staying or going. There will likely be a spate of lawsuits because both Paul and Caroline are trying to bring their girls over, but they have noncompetes in their contracts." says one booker
But how did this all come about?
"He [Paul] had a huge salary there, but wasn't really getting along with management. [Rowland sold the company a few years ago, but stayed on as an executive.] So basically, he just left." Says an inside source.
So Mr. new rich man owner of Ford played his part and in order to bring P&M over the NY Post says:
To make way for Rowland and his crew, Ford let go of a number of bookers and agents. "They basically cleaned house and canned everyone," says another source.
So, instead of shutting Supreme down, and because Caroline Poznanski needed a job, the Women management seem to have brought her over.
"It's one big game of musical chairs," says our [NY Post] source. "There were rumors around that Supreme was just going to close, but instead they hired Poznanski and absorbed some other people who had been let go from Ford."
For now, a rep at Ford said,
"There have been some changes at Ford. We are looking forward to a new chapter."
