Tao Okamoto For Ralph Lauren

Supreme's Tao Okamoto appeared in an ad for Ralph Lauren today. The question popping into my head is, is Valentina Zeliaeva being fazed out?

Supreme on their blog said the following:

"This is just the beginning of things to come for Ms. Okamoto, and we here at Supreme could not be more proud of her!"

I do remember when Valentina took the helm of RL, a big introduction was made of her, but as all things in fashion move on, I think it's a smart move on the brand part, to  change face.

Asian is an interesting broad choice though, but J.Crew went black for their latest catalog, so it's interesting to see how things will roll.
