Yee Haa | Milou Hits the Amercian West
One of my favorite models to come out in 2008 was Milou Van Groese, with Supreme Management in NY and Women in Paris. guess I should have shared her sooner...! Better later then not.
Anyway, she recently had the above editorial, titled American West (shot by Alex Cayley), in Numero Tokyo Feb 09 issue and I though it might be a good time to look at this girl. She's one in whom gentleness and edgy unite, giving her the edge to set her apart in this competitive landscape of high-fashion.
Born in Holland, Milou is 100% Dutch. At 20 years old, she stands 5'9", just enough to be accepted as tall enough (I personally love that exact height for a model. More versatile). She was discovered on the street and is into rock music, and loves to own a piggy as a pet one day. She also likes hippies, having a drink with friends, and playing the guitar. And oh loves to each fish. Understandably not pork.
