More Madonna Vuitton Ads | Tacky & Vulgar?

Vuitton-SS-09-ads-Madonna

Following the first batch, we now have 3 more images from the Vuitton-Madonna S/S 09 ad campaign.

Per Frillr, the "New images from the campaign have fashion critics in an uproar. Words like tacky and vulgar are being spilled towards the images...."

What do you guys think, did Marc Jacobs make a mistake with Madonna, or is photographer Steven Meisel is to blame for the results?  Or are they really good, while pushing the limits?

I must admit, the first batch did take alot to be desired, But I do like these. Theres a mood in the tones and angles that draw you in for a while. This series will always be marmite, but anything that creates such attention must be worth the attention.

Madonna showing her crotch (again) is not a good move for LV. I think Marc made a huge mistake.

But then again, in this economy he needs all the help he can get. Shock tactics included.

personally, her best shot is the first photo, not included in these but honestly, because she's an iconic character, she has the ability to get away with so much more.

I like these. I don't think much of the clothes themselves, but the photos aren't vulgar or tacky. It's actually the best Madonna has looked in a long time. I wonder who the Fashion critics in question are? Midwest designers for Walmart?

I think she needs to, for once, close her legs. She is not edgy anymore and she needs to give it up. It's not pushing any limits but the photos are nice and the color scheme is fantastic.
