Here is a first look at the Marc by Marc Jacobs S/S 09 Ad Campaign, featuring Daisy Lowe as shot by Juergen Teller.
Reaction? A Big Yawn....!
Don't get me wrong; I like Marc and Daisy and Teller, but this trio of a combo didn't mix well here.
I think the real problem is the combination of the Marc Jacobs Brands with Juergen Teller. The acclaimed fashion photographer has been shooting for the acclaimed designer for a little too long now, and in my opinion the point of view once easily identified with the due no longer stands out. It's now nothing more then an expected bore.
I think it's time for Marc Jacobs to bring in a new eye and angle to his ads; because as of now redundancy is ruling [and killing] them.

I think I agree with you. I feel like they could have done so much more with Daisy Lowe since she seems to have such a distinct personality of her own.
Juergen Teller's work for Marc Jacobs peaked when he shot a photo of him in bed with Charlotte Rampling. After that season, all the Marc Jacobs ads looked boring in comparison.
