Few items to close out the day with:

Té Casan, the beloved shoe store, is closing down. Even a name like Natalie Portman designing a collection for them earlier this year was not able to hold them off. [Racked]

Marie Claire Italia had recently hired Karl Lagerfeld to shoot a 2009 calendar for them. It's all in b&w from it seems and features model Eva Herzigova. [WWD]

Tina Fey, the star of the 2008 election has landed on the Vanity Fair January 09 cover. She had brought us many laughs and I thought I showcase it here. [Design Scene]

Lastly, the Vogue Documentary shot back in 2006 has made it into the Sundance film festival. It's titled 'The September Issue' and is directed by R.J. Cutler. "Cutler and his crew shot for nine months as they captured Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour and her team preparing the 2007 Vogue September issue." [Hollywood Reporter]
