Lux Exclusivity Enthralls the Web
A few new shopping websites are choosing to go underground when selling their exclusive discounted luxury finds. Three of them have come my way, recently, that I wanted to share with you.
They're Gilt, Cocosa, and Rue La La. All three shops are 'by invite only', so someone in has to invite you...well, in. They all run their sale on a first come first serve basis and with a timed window; once the sales closes those items will no longer be available. The discount is what the shoppers are after, as they can chop-off up to 70% off the designers tag's price. Here is a little about each.
Gilt.com is the newest of them, and the darlings there have given us a special invite so all you readers can join in exclusively. The site offers Men’s, Women’s and Children’s products, with such names as Page Sargisson, Carolina Bucci, Gryson, Cynthia Vincent, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Habitual. Each of their sales lasts 36 hours and features hand selected styles from a single designer. Previews of upcoming sales are also available, so you can know what is coming up.
Cocosa.com is a UK (only) based shop that offer more coveted names, such as Zac Posen, Christian Lacroix, and Matthew Williamson. Their sales run one at a time and for a limited time, as well. They're also a little more refrained and you usually have to wait a few days before the next sale goes live. Giving you a breathing room, but not a spontaneous shopping experience.
Last but not least is RueLaLa.com, a US based shop that is about 'people that love'! Love shopping, and love style. Their 'boutiques' usually run 2-3 days and offer such names as Eli Tahari, Natori, Vince and Arte Italica.
Each of them offer small percks like recieving a $25 credit for inviting a friend who ends up placing their first purchase. Or previews. So if you're intersted, i've found my way into all of them and will be happy to invite you. Just send me an email.
