For the last few months i've been noticing suspenders all around. From the streets of NYC to magazine editorials (above: from Lula # 7), to stores like Bloomingdales. John Varvatos has a couple of pairs in Bloomingdales that come with suspenders attached to them. But my first notice of them came earlier this year in the movie 21, with actress Kate Bosworth . In one scene she wore a black pair over a plain white short sleeves shirt (click left thumbnail). She looked quite fabulous—especially since she's got the right size boobs to pull them off; a cup size B or C would be just perfect.
Another confirmation I got was from Paris, from a model who was there for the shows. She said she noticed them around as well. So, that's that people. Let's see what happens in the next 6-12 months.
PS: the Varvatos came with buttons instead of the traditional clips, which I kind of liked better.
