I just came across this little brand called Modern Lovers. They do Tees [and Tote bag] designs with a modern and fresh perspective, using hand-screen printing. How cool is the following poem/line in their about us page:
"They live by night, a wisp of fabric, a shapely shadow. These bandits have come for your hearts. Modern Lovers Unite! Midnight they strike, chased by a glowing moon and echoing peals of laughter. Eyes ablaze in a wooded wake."
So though I knew I liked the brand right away, I couldn't just turn my impression into words, so I poked my friend Jaymie (of Son Of Lamb) for her opinion. She of course summed it up pretty perfectly:
"It has a cool slicked out minimalist but hardcore edge, love that. I really like the shirt that says "seriously, stay sm art"
