On June 22nd Lydia Hearst announced on her Page Six Chronicles that: "It's Official: I am a Playboy cover girl". It seems though that before that cover hits newsstands, the young heiress-cum-model decided to stop by Self Service Magazine for a few scenes on her family's estate (seen above).
They only question I have is: might this be a sign that Americans are
becoming the new nude chic girls of the fashion industry, being led by
Ms. Hearst?

I have nothing against nudity but I find that it distracts the audience from the main purpose of the editorials -- the clothes. It's a different story, however, if the photos are for Playboy, of course. :-)
