The many sides of the lovely Lou Doillon.
Once asked to describe her personality, she responded: "French Revolution meets Joséphine, which meets Millais’s Ophelia,
wearing Degas’ tutu, Toulouse-Lautrec’s green stockings, Mary Poppins’s
boots, and the Artful Dodger’s top hat, kind of with an air hostess
hat."
The actress, model, designer, and mother, who once described living life as adventures, is getting ready for her latest adventure: shopkeeper, reports WWD. The fashion site reports that Lou is "scouting a location in Paris to open a concept store as early as next year."
So what's this shop in Paris to sell? Doillon says: “We’ll have a mix of fashion, literature, modern and old, with more of an English than French influence, and not conventional.”
I know, exciting! So we'll keep an open eye-and-ear on this shops development—to whom a name has not been given yet, and which I'm excited to hear, as it's bound to be unique—and tell you all about it.
