In Hard Times, Indulge Your High-Taste
Unfortunately Fortunately ones own taste in fashion does not fluctuate with the financial market. Good taste continues to demand high-quality, and high-fashion. But what does one do when gas, food and general expenses continue to shoot up the roof? What do you do when your purse shrinks to un-petit levels not experienced in years? When even the NY Times publishes an article titled "It's Not Easy Being Less Rich" (discussing the state of the rich and how even they (to continue the facade of their life style) are selling off their hidden assets to maintain their current life style)?
It's chaos in the making my dear! But relax my fluffy haired girl (top banner) because as the headline states: "In Hard Times, Indulge Your High-Taste", and today we bring you two websites that work hard to provide you with your designer items for (much) less.
First is Designer Laundry. & here is their tale:
"In late December of 2007, three charitably-minded fashionphiles launched DesignerLaundry.com a revolutionary concept combining the sale of celebrity donated clothing with giving back to those in need. Our online high-fashion boutique features sample and runway-worn designer clothing, shoes, and handbags from over 200 luxury brands...the opportunity to dress like movie stars without breaking the bank" More here.
Second is Shop It To Me. And they say:
"You can think of us as your free personal online shopper. Select your favorite apparel brands (such as Theory, Prada, Armani, Ella Moss, Juicy Couture, Seven Jeans, DKNY, or BCBG) and sizes. We'll scour the websites of leading retailers like Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Banana Republic, Gap, Zappos and Bluefly and email a daily or weekly summary of which new items go on sale in your size."
